Waterproof Lap Pads

We are at week 34 until the arrival of our Babygirl. Gifts and hand-me-downs are starting to come in what we celebrate off the need to "do" list (by Babies R Us).

We have much we get, so I wanted to ask you your opinion. For all those moms and dads out there, I have attached below, babies R Us "Checklist of parents." What is needed? What is not? What is precious? What you get on a whim and are eternally grateful to have? This has proved to be nothing other reaction? What brands are best (for example, I hear that Boudreaux's Butt Paste is the best there is)?

I'm starting to scout on Craigslist and eBay for good deals (which is the devil knew breast pumps have been incredibly expensive??? At least I can get new items in box on eBay and save some of them if I looks like a hawk!). If any of you have ideas that you share, we would be very grateful. Thank you!
