Oh my God! I'd rather pay the money and buy new ones every month. Brut. It's like washing diapers with shit still in them.

I use something similar, it is a menstrual cup, called Diva Cup.

but just my opinion, I wouldnt want to be flushing out blood but several times a day!

I have not heard of washable mats for a period. If there is such a thing ... you can try Google ..... I would not wear myself that I do not wear .... buffers and in any case I think they would be less hygienic than disposables.
