Tanning help against acne, but it increases the risk of life threatening skin cancers such as melanoma. It would probably be a temporary help anyway I recommend you see a dermatologist.

I have acne and when I'm in the sun a lot they dry.
It depends on your skin type good. If your skin is dry anyway it might irritate your skin

If your skin is oily like mine, the sun or tanning could help

Acne is caused by dirt and oil from clogging the pores of the face and body. Although it would be nice to say that the ultraviolet light tanning bed will open the clogged pores, it is simply not the case. Ultraviolet light will kill any bacteria that might be living in these blocked pores well. This is beneficial, but the same result can be achieved simply by washing the face and body with antibacterial soap.
