What do mobile phone networks, 3G turbo 3G data services for pay as you go customers? Just got my first 3G capable phone with wifi. It is most often used abroad but I have pay as you go SIM cards for most networks in the United Kingdom. Vodafone's website says it http://help.vodafone.co.uk/system/selfse ...
so I was wondering if T-Mobile, O2, Virgin, Orange offers nothing better for pay as you go customers? I'll get a new SIM card if I do. I leave my laptop in Norway since Ryanair are so stingy with the baggage allowance and just get by with my Sony Ericsson P990i
if a mobile phone, Internet use ..
Orange and T-Mobile to make both data (GPRS, EDGE, CSSS (orange), 3G and 3G + - depending on local resistance)
They both do a max daily rate (1.50 to 1 pound as I recall)
(But you have to ask - despite what the website suggests, othetwsie its 4 pounds / MB! - As roaming)
and weekly rates .. 5 pounds (7.50)
If you want months, you have to do the SIM PayMonthly Orange - Panther 30 pounds, 1200mins, txt UNL, much data as I recall.
O2 - forget. they do, but not worth mentioning.
Check out the websites.
If you want to use the PC / USB dongle's another SIM and APN, and costs.
