Red Acne Scars

I'm working on heaps of drinking water, watch what I eat and still red scars ... although I saw them go down a lot and also by the application of lemon and cucumber. I know that most guys do not catch any, but I have some acne scars and feel uncomfortable when going on dates. I tried a little foundation, but my skin became so dry and it didn't feel natural at all. Is it possible that I could cover?
