Neutrogena Facial Mask

Should wash your face after you apply a facial mask? I use Neutrogena whitening mask and moisturizing mask. They mentioned in the instructions we are supposed to apply the mask on a clean face. So Im just wondering if we need to wash our face again after applying the mask or face wash?

just wash your face after so you get all the mask. because if it stays on it could dry your skin.
