Magic Clean If I use Magic Eraser to clean walls before painting it affect the way the paint is going after? I intend to paint the walls in a duplex I'm renting and the walls had pencil marks on them. I was wondering if I use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser product to remove and paint over that the Magic Eraser will leave a residue or anything that will effect the application or to accession painting? Absolutely not. I use this product and sometimes it's the only thing that works, especially on the crayon. The only thing you really want to worry about ensuring that all the pencil is turned off. Magic erasers work almost like sandpaper, sometimes taking the paint off too, so be careful you do not take too much paint on. There is no residual activity chemial. I think it would be nice Posted on January 16, 2010.
