Falling Arches

Falling ArchesWhat are the remedies for falling arches?

A year ago .. a doctor told me I was suffering from falling arches ... my feet hurt real bad sometimes ... not often but when they do ... I'm in excruciating pain ... what, what I can do ... help me ...? What better way to soak in hot water or ice .... my ankles swell sometimes and God, I do not work ... I'm leaning more towards ice packs ...

My husband had his fall bows and was diagnosed with "tunnel Tarcila" (think of carpal tunnel, but in feet) about 3 years ago. We went to many doctors, had custom shoes made, and he was using a cane at the age of 31 years! One of the pain and swelling home remedies we tried was to fill a small bottle of water about three quarters of the way and freeze it. Then you roll under your feet cool, numb, and massage as you sit and watch television or talk on the phone. It helped a little.

We were so scared that he would have to live his life in a half hour walk relapses. One day I saw an infomercial for WalkFits, another type of shoe. We tried everything on the shelves to store and at first he did not mind me, I watch WAY too much TV. For about 6 months I've harassed him at least try them. We were Christmas shopping at Bed, Bath and Beyond and happened to see them in the store. We thought what the heck, if it does not work at least it's only twenty dollars. I am soooo glad that we could go dancing again and now spend our Sunday walk in the mall and take the dog in the park for a few hours! Try them. The worst that will happen is they do not work as well as it did for us and that you are at $ 20.

Get shoe inserts that support the roof. in sports training, we recorded the fall of the support arches. It's amazing how such a basic problem can cause so much pain! I would use the cold, but hot would be nice too, if it is softer (because you do not have to worry about swelling).

Orthotics. Arch supports.

You can take aspirin and soak them in hot water with Epsom salts to reduce swelling and relieve pain, but healing is not and will do nothing for your feet to long-term .

See a podiatrist!

I could help you fix your flat feet / fallen arches. It implies that following an exercise regimen for a short period of time. If you are interested, send me k.sordo @ gmail.com (it's free!)
