Changing Disk Brakes

Changing Disk BrakesShould I open the brake reservoir when changing brake pads disc?

Sometimes I do, sometimes I forget. Never had a problem. But I'm front and rear on both cars this weekend and I wonder in the right direction.

Although exchange of disc brakes, do I open the brake fluid reservoir?

Me think that the type of vehicle is irrelevant, but they are 99 and a '03 Chrysler LHS Audi Quattro.

Thank you!

Yes, if you want to facilitate the retraction of the piston, and no, if you fear that you forget to put the lid ...

on newer models of the CAP is drained so it's not nessesary unless someone thought it was a good idea to add liquid to the existence resivore instead of replacing buffer (bad idea) when you want to remove the cap so that excess liquid can get to there is a firewall and easier floor

yes if there will not any pressure when you press the plunger
