Baby Acne Treatment

Im 29 weeks pregnant and I just cannot help thinking my baby would come out .. normal and healthy I had my last period nov.29 2007. and I started my skin care / treatment of acne with dermatologists in December without realizing that I was pregnant, I started research on the components of the drug against acne, but I had all the information gathered so i looked insufficient.any I confirmed I was pregnant in January last 4 weeks and was already pregnant and then I decided to totally stop the use of all my medicines against acne topical at 8 weeks so far. I know that the adverse effects of isotretinoin, etc. on the baby thats why I'm so worried ....

all mothers out there, what do u think? u have had an experience like that? and how is your baby ?....

You should be fine. Using the acne med. should not hurt anything about your pregnancy unless it has a caution or warnings about use during pregnancy. If you're still interested if I had to ask your doctor. If he has a warning about use during pregnancy you have stopped using it so early that there should be no affect what so ever the baby. Otherwise, I do not think you have something to fear. Congratulations ~! = D

How are you 29 weeks pregnant. You should be a little ahead of that. I'm due September 22 and the first day of my LMP is 12-15-2007. Unless you ovulated late, but you're probably a little further then you think. Anyway, before taking any medication or using creams ask your doctor. Some may have undesirable effects on the baby. , I doubt that it is a cream that you have a problem, but check anyway. You do not want it to have effects on your baby. Good luck and take care.

It is probably best to use a topical treatment. I found that tea tree oil is great to get rid of acne, and safely so that you can use if you are still comfortable with the topical treatment of your dermatologist.
