Alternative To Tampons Is there an alternative to tampons for swimming? I go on a water sports holiday and its my period. But im very squemish and do not want to use tampons is there an alternative? No. So start practicing, I think tampons are better than pads because you do not sit on such things as a layer, it is absorbed in a little cotton and stays there until you change so do not irritate the skin. Pads seem very primitive ... even in ancient China they used rice (paper?) Balls as buffers and put in there. Try putting your foot on the toilet or fixing the set, it feels much better than a pad and seems much healthier because you do not throw it away, you throw it. Good luck! If you need more info feel free to contact me. Many women who are serving their period in the water. I'd say go ahead and try one just for this occasion. I just started to use tampons because I went to a waterpark, and I was not uncomfortable at all, so I'll start to Tampines usuing on a regular basis. So maybe just try it, and who knows, maybe you'll come to know that you like to use tampons more! But no, I do not think egg no alternative outside all goes with anything, but then theres that risk of bleeding and can be very annoying. Some say yhuu cannot bleed in water, this is true for some people and false for others. Perhaps yhuu could not bleed into the water, but if yhuu do its very disgusting. Yes - menstrual cups. Not that I know, but to test the previous answer why not try to take a bath to check! Umm a buffer? if not stuff your pants with toilet paper. Posted on January 3, 2010.
